DOING THE WILL OF GOD IS WHAT FAITH MEANS.

Throughout the Book of Esther there is no mention of God. Because of that, some “scholars” have suggested that the book is not inspired by the holy spirit and therefore, must not be part of the Scriptures.
The whole of Scriptures is a story of faith. The book of Esther is a book that showcases the faith of the Jews, Mordecai and Esther in particular. It teaches us how Mordecai didn’t succumb to tremendous pressure from Haman, to the point of death, to disobey God’s will (Esther 3:2) and, how for her part, Esther risked her life to break the law of the king just to obey the will of God (Esther 4:16). These are the works that James points out, that without such works, faith is dead (James 2:21-26). The book is a fine example that doing the will of God is what faith means.
Please think about it.
