Happiness comes from finding peace. There is no amount of material possessions that shall make you happy without peace.

Is it true then that, “nothing can bring you peace but yourself”? Yes it is. Does letting go of things you do not have control of bring peace? Does calming your mind bring peace? And does shutting yourself off from people that trouble you bring peace? Yes, they all do. They all bring peace, the kind of peace that the world gives.

Real peace, however, comes not from the world, but from God through faith in His Son Jesus Christ. And Christ does not give you peace the way that the world gives it (John 14:27). When you find the real Christ, you find real peace. However, finding the true Christ is no easy feat, for many false Christ have come to mislead many (Matthew 24:24). And their lies are louder than ever before in an attempt to drown the truth with their noise.

How then do you find the real Christ? You must keep on asking, keep on seeking, and keep on knocking to God to find him. This is the only way that God will give you the spirit of Christ (Lu 11:9-13). When you show your sincere desire to do the will of God (Jo 7:17), He shall lead you (Jo 6:44, 65) to find the real Christ, who shall give you real peace (John 16:33).
